What Is A Multiples System?

A multiples system essentially boils down to multiple people living in one body. Multiplicity is along the same lines as D.I.D. and M.P.D. but isn’t necessarily exactly the same. Some systems may identify with that diagnosis and others may not. Some systems may also be trauma-based while others may not be. Yes, we would be offended if you asked us this.

Nearly every member of our system is either a fictive or a fictionkin. These are basically the same with minor differences — one was born and raised with the body (fictionkin) and the other just kind of “showed up” (fictive). Either way, they both mean that we identify with fictional characters.

The Owls

After a massive overhaul by the host, only himself and one other headmate are the main frontrunners and spend 99.9% of the time at the front. The chances of this changing any time soon are slim.

The “Core,” or “Host”
The “host” serves as the center axis from which the others may cling to, as it were. He was the original system member and from him, everyone else was pulled in or created in a time of stress.
